Ex-Wheaton College Student Charged With Stealing From Dorms
Sion Park, 18, allegedly stole "valuables worth thousands of dollars" from his classmates' dorms.

WHEATON, IL — A former Wheaton College student has been charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from his classmate's dorm rooms. Sion Park, 18, allegedly stole a MacBook Air, a watch, and multiple iPhones from other students throughout February when he attended Wheaton College, according to a news release from DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
Park is accused of going into unlocked dorms to look for valuables to steal, according to the charges. Police say he successfully stole from at least two dorm rooms.
The victims reportedly told Wheaton College officials, who informed local police of the alleged thefts. Park was taken into custody without incident following a police investigation.

In light of the charges, DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said, "The allegations that Mr. Park stole valuables worth thousands of dollars from his fellow classmates are unacceptable and will be met with the full force of the law."
Park is currently being held at DuPage County Jail on $100,000 bond.
