Fire Consumes Home In Wheaton
The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental, according to fire officials.

WHEATON, IL --- A home that was under renovation in Wheaton has been deemed uninhabitable after a fire broke out Saturday afternoon. According to police, the fire broke out just before 12:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Evergreen.
According to a press release, it took fire crews roughly 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
Fire officials say the blaze was accidental and was likely caused by staining materials that were improperly disposed of. The total estimated loss was $50,000.
