Fire Damages 3 Houses In Warrenville

WARRENVILLE, IL — A fire broke out in a Warrenville home Monday and spread to two nearby houses.

Firefighters were called to the 2S400 block of Cerise Drive just after 6 p.m. for a report of fire debris near a home. When they got to the scene, they found heavy smoke showing from one of the homes. Crews battled the fire from within the home and worked to contain fire that had begun to spread to the other two homes.

The cause of the fire had not been determined as of Tuesday morning. One home was deemed uninhabitable, but residents of the other two homes were able to return to them.
