Fire Damages Garage On Forest Avenue
Firefighters responded to a blaze in the 1500 block of East Forest Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
WHEATON, IL — A fire broke out in the garage of a home on Forest Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to a single-family home 1500 block of East Forest Avenue just after 3:15 p.m. When they got to the scene, fire crews located a blaze in home's detached garage.
Nearby roads were briefly closed as firefighters battled the flames. The blaze was extinguished "within minutes," according to a news release.

No one was injured in the fire, which was deemed to be accidental. The exact cause of the fire had not been determined as of Friday afternoon.
