Fisherman, 71, Rescued From Lake In Warrenville
Three bystanders pulled the man from Silver Lake, performed CPR, and called 911.

WARRENVILLE, IL -- A 71-year-old fisherman has three strangers to thank for saving his life after he fell into the water at Silver Lake in Warrenville. Ramon Garchitorena was fishing on the lake in Blackwell Forest Preserve two weeks ago when he stepped into the mud and stumbled into the water, ABC 7 reports. Tyler Line, a bystander, saw Garchitorena floating upside down in the water and sprang to action.
Line got into the water and swam toward Garchitorena, calling to two other fishermen for help. Line performed CPR on Garchitorena as Alfred Cedeno and Gary Jacobs prepped their boat to help emergency responders get to Garchitorena.
ABC 7 reports that Cedeno, Jacobs, and Line were honored for helping Garchitorena, who made a full recovery and says he is eager to go out fishing again.
