It's getting cold outside and the shelters are overflowing with unwanted dogs and puppies. Safe Haven Dog Rescue has the ability to bring these dogs and puppies from Kentucky (where they are AT RISK!) to safety THIS Friday 11/11/16, but we need foster homes to do it!
Lady - Found under a home with her 7 puppies. Owner said they had to go or he was going to shoot them! Lady is about 2 and said to be sweet as can be. Needs to be fostered without her puppies (they have been weaned).
5 puppies, appear to be Lab/hound. Need to be fostered in groups (2, 3, or 4). Believe they are all male, but this has not been confirmed.

No Name (yes, this dog has NO Name!)- Male, Lab/Beagle mix. 2 years. Said to be an "Excellent dog".
Buddy - Male, approx 3 years old. Good with other dogs. Very sweet and loving. Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

While you foster, we provide vetting at our partner vet offices, food, toys, crate, leash, and collar...you provide love, warmth, and socialization.
We always give our foster families the first option to adopt if interested. Once a dog or puppy comes into our program, there is a 1 or 2 week quarantine period depending on age, (longer if it is a medical case). Once that time is up, you let us know if you would like to adopt, or if you will bring the dog to adoption events to find a forever family.
