Retail thieves hit Danada Square store in pre-Christmas heist.

Retail thieves hit a Danada Square store in a pre-Christmas heist of Urban Decay cosmetics, Wheaton police said.

An employee at Ulta3 at 112 Danada Square said the four men and four women came into the store around 9 p.m. Dec. 15, and proceeded to clear shelves of the popular cosmetics.

About $1,280 worth of makeup was stolen, including 20 boxes of Naked-2 Urban Decay and five boxes of Contour Kit Anastasia makeup.

The group was seen stuffing the stolen merchandise into the purse of an accomplice, described as a female Hispanic around 18 years old.

The store employee told police the woman wore a white jacket and was carrying a black shoulder purse with a large strap wrapped around her shoulder.

All of the suspects exited the front entrance where they entered a dark colored van. They were last seen heading eastbound on Butterfield road.
