Girl's hockey tourney raises $50,000 for breast cancer
Tenth annual event surpasses goal by a longshot
On January 19 the Chicago Mission girl’s hockey team hosted the 10th annual Pink in the Rink tournament to raise funds for American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of DuPage County.
Through a series of auctions, raffles, shirt sales and personal donations the event raised $50,000 for breast cancer research, patient services and education.
