Gun Stolen During Wheaton Garage Burglary: Police Blotter

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating an incident in which a gun was stolen from a garage of a home on Brahms Circle, according to a late June police blotter. Police say a gun and a toolbox were stolen from the home sometime between June 15 and June 20.

Two car burglaries were also reported in Wheaton. The first car burglary took place in the 1500 block of Castlewood Drive on June 19. A resident told police someone went through the glove compartment and center console of a car that had been left unlocked.

Another car burglary was reported in the 1500 block of Gainesboro Drive. Police say an unknown suspect rifled through the center console and glove compartment of an unlocked car sometime between 10 p.m. on June 26 and 1 p.m. on June 27.
