'Multiple Rounds' Fired Outside Apartments In Wheaton: Cops
Wheaton police say property was damaged when "multiple rounds" were fired in the 1300 block of North Main Street late Thursday.

WHEATON, IL — "Multiple rounds" of gunfire damaged property outside an apartment complex near Northside Park in Wheaton late Thursday, according to Wheaton Police Department Lieutenant Ryan Conway.
Wheaton police were called to the 1300 block of North Main Street around 11 p.m. for a "report of gunfire," a city notification stated. When officers got to the scene, they were unable to locate any victims, but found evidence that a gun had been fired.
Citing the ongoing investigation, Conway told Patch no further information would be made available as of Friday afternoon regarding what type of evidence was found.
