Home Burglarized In Wheaton: Police

The suspect(s) stole jewelry and silverware in broad daylight, cops say.

WHEATON, IL — Police are investigating a residential burglary that took place in a neighborhood in Wheaton on May 18. The burglary was reported in the 1800 block of W. Courtenay Dr. in broad daylight, according to a police summary.

The victim told police that their home had been unattended between 1:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Upon returning, the victim noticed that several items were missing from the home.

The suspect(s) reportedly took "several items of jewelry and silverware" from the residence, police say.
