House, Car Burglarized In Wheaton: Police
Both incidents were reported in early July, according to a recent police report.
WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating two burglary incidents that took place in early July. In one instance, a car was burglarized and in another a home was burglarized, according to a recent police report.
Police say the car burglary took place in the 400 block of North West Street. A resident told police someone burglarized their unlocked car sometime between 10 p.m. on July 1 and 11 a.m. on July 2. A wallet was reported stolen.
The home burglary was reported in the 1500 block of Dawes Avenue on July 6. Bottles of liquor were reported stolen from the home, police say.
