Lady is a GEM!

Are you her family?

Meet Lady!

Shepherd / Belgian Malinois Mix
DOB 11/1/15

Lady has found herself looking for a new family. Her current family loves her very much, but their life has changed and does not allow them to give her the family that she deserves. She was originally adopted from Safe Haven Dog Rescue and they have asked us to find her an amazing family that has the time to give her all the love in the world.

Lady is the real deal! Being just one year old, she has a good deal of energy and just loves to run and play! She dreams of a home with an active family and maybe even a fenced in yard where she can run and play to her hearts content. She also loves to cuddle up with her humans once she has enjoyed her playtime.
Lady is currently the only dog in her home, but we believe, based on interactions with neighborhood dogs, that she would do well with other dogs. She has been with other dogs at our adoption events and has been gentle and respectful. She does live in a home with a cat and she tries to chase the cat, but the cat is very good at ignoring her. Lady is on the quiet side, she rarely barks unless there is something that REALLY catches her attention…and even then she is usually content to watch.

Lady is fantastic with all people and with children. Like most dogs, she gets excited when people come to the door and might jump up to greet them, but with some training, this is a habit that can be easily broken. Lady is completely housebroken, crate trained and even rings a bell when she needs to go outside.
This girl is a true GEM!
