WHEATON, IL — Mail was stolen from local churches, windows were broken at Carlson's Paint and other incidents were reported on the most recent Wheaton Police Department crime blotter.

Mailbox Pried Open at Wheaton Chinese Alliance Church

Police say someone pried open a locked mailbox at Wheaton Chinese Alliance Church, 1748 S. Blanchard St., sometime between May 15 and May 22.

Mail Stolen from Aldersgate United Methodist Church

Mail was stolen from a mailbox at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1753 S. Blanchard St. Police say the incident happened sometime between May 20 and May 22.

Mail Stolen from St. Matthew Church

Someone pried open a mailbox and removed items at St. Matthew Church, 1420 S. Gables Blvd. sometime between May 19 and May 23.

Windows Broken at Carlson's Paint

Police say someone shattered several windows at the back of Carlson's Paint, 111 Front St. The incident took place sometime between 5:30 p.m. on May 26 and 8:30 a.m. on May 27.

Criminal Damage to Property at Seven Gables Park

The window of a barn door was broken and graffiti was found a wall of a building at Seven Gables Park, 1750 S. Naperville Rd. The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. on May 29, according to police.
