More Than $473K Granted To Nonprofits By DuPage Foundation
A total of 37 local nonprofits recently received Community Needs grants from DuPage Foundation.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — DuPage Foundation recently awarded more than $470,000 to 37 area nonprofits as part of its Community Needs grants.
The grants were awarded to the following animal service, environmental, educational and arts and culture organizations in the following amounts:
- Alive Center: $20,000
- Best Buddies: $10,000
- B.R. Ryall YMCA: $25,000
- b.unity: $7,500
- Buffalo Theatre Ensemble: $20,000
- Career and Networking Center: $23,000
- Chicago Sinfonietta: $5,000
- Child's Voice: $2,500
- College of DuPage Foundation: $25,000
- Compudopt: $5,000
- Covenant Living at Windsor Park: $5,000
- Doodlebug Workshop Vocational Training Center, Inc.: $5,000
- DuPage Children's Museum: $18,000
- DuPage County Historical Museum Foundation: $2,500
- Elmhurst Art Museum: $20,000
- ESSE Adult Day Services: $5,000
- Exodus World Service: $19,000
- Fetching Tails Foundation: $9,700
- Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center: $25,000
- Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale: $2,000
- Hinsdale Humane Society: $23,000
- H.O.M.E. DuPage, Inc.: $25,000
- Innovation DuPage: $15,000
- Inside Out Club DuPage: $12,500
- KidsMatter: $14,250
- Literacy DuPage: $22,000
- Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art: $2,500
- Naperville Heritage Society/Naper Settlement: $5,000
- Opera for the Young: $2,500
- Partnership for Education Progress: $9,200
- Salt Creek Ballet: $5,000
- SCARCE: $25,000
- Spirito!: $5,000
- The Conservation Foundation: $25,000
- Village of Glen Ellyn: $10,000
- Young Naperville Singers: $2,500
- Your Children’s Bookshelf: $15,500
This round of grants comes after $678,000 was awarded to 37 health and human service nonprofits in spring of 2022.

“Our Community Needs Grant Program supports local not-for-profit organizations that are dedicated to enriching DuPage County,” Roger McDougal, chair of DuPage Foundation’s Grant Committee said in a statement.
He added, “We are thankful for the myriad services and programs they provide that contribute to a strong, vibrant, and culturally- and environmentally-rich community. In addition, we are thankful for the donors who have invested in the Foundation. It is their generosity that makes our support possible.”
