Multiple Thefts Reported In Wheaton In Late August: Police Blotter
Wheaton police responded to reports of stolen wallets, bikes and other items, according to the city's most recent crime blotter.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police responded to multiple reports of thefts, some of which took place at local businesses, according to the city's most recent crime blotter.
Purse Stolen from Chair at Main and Front Streets
Police say a woman stole a purse that was on a chair outdoors on the sidewalk near the intersection of Main and Front Streets. The incident took place just after 11 a.m. on Aug. 22.

Cash Stolen from Locker at Planet Fitness
Someone broke into a locker at the Planet Fitness at 1780 S. Blanchard St. and stole cash from inside a wallet. Police say the theft took place sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Aug. 22.

Bike Stolen from Clapham School
A locked Bounty Hunter bike was stolen from a bike rack at Clapham School, 335 E. Seminary Ave. The incident happened sometime between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Ladder Stolen from Backyard on Thompson Drive
Police say someone stole a ladder from the backyard of a home in the 1600 block of Thompson Drive sometime between 12 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 9:54 a.m. on Aug. 27.
Wallet Stolen from Purse At Target on County Farm Road
A wallet was stolen from a purse that had been left in a cart at the Target at 601 S. County Farm Rd. around 1 p.m. on Aug. 28.
Bike Stolen from Wheaton College Football Stadium
Police say a bike was stolen from the football stadium at Wheaton College on Aug. 28, sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
