With budget cuts in educational funding at the state and district level, the NEW 200 Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which raises funds to help bridge the gap between District 200 budget limitations and the desire to expand educational opportunities for all our students. The foundation works in collaboration with the district to award grants to teachers for innovative classroom teaching methods and classroom technology. NEW 200 is an acronym for Network for Educational Excellence in Wheaton-Warrenville for District 200, which serves more than 13,400 students.
