No Injuries Reported in Early Morning Fire

WHEATON, IL - No one was injured in a fire early Monday in Wheaton.
Fire crews were called to a structure fire at 814 N. Blanchard at about 2:30 a.m. where they found a shed on fire. The blaze had extended to an adjoining garage on a neighbor’s property and was brought under control within 15 minutes, according to a city of Wheaton press release.
All residents were able to safely get out of their homes, fire officials said.

The exact cause of fire is undetermined but does not appear to be suspicious in nature. Damage estimates are not immediately available.
The Wheaton Fire Department was assisted on the scene by the Wheaton Police Department and several fire departments from neighboring communities. The property was turned back over to the respective owners after the fire.
