Rich Tucker, CEO of Tucker Development, said he also plans to fill empty retail space with more dining options, according to the newspaper. The property currently has about 85 percent occupancy. Stores currently at Town Square Wheaton, located at 271 Town Square, include Banana Republic, Gap, Bath & Body Works, Yankee Candle and White House Black Market.
“We have been aware of the property for a number of years, ever since it was built, and we always liked the real estate and the location,” Tucker told Suburban Life Publications. “And we knew there wouldn’t be a quality development like this that came around often.”
