Pair Accused Of Stealing Nearly $4K In Allergy Meds In Naperville
Police say Ionel Tomescu, 30, and Miclescu Lovenza, 26, had a child with them when they were arrested Tuesday.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A man and a woman from Elmwood Park face felony and misdemeanor charges after police say they stole nearly $4,000 worth of allergy medicine from a store in Naperville.
Ionel Tomescu, 30, and Miclescu Lovenza, 26, were charged with burglary, retail theft and endangering the health/life of a child, in connection with incidents that took place Aug. 25 and Aug. 29.
Police were called to a store in the 1300 block of Route 59 for a report of a theft. When they got to the scene, officers say store employees pointed out Tomescu and Lovenza, whom they arrested shortly after.

According to police Tomescu and Lovenza stole "a large amount of allergy medication" from the store on Aug. 25 and Aug. 29.
A young child was with Tomescu and Lovenza on Aug. 29, leading to the charge of endangering the health/life of a child, Naperville Police Commander Michaus Williams told Patch.

Tomescu and Lovenza are being held in DuPage County Jail and are set to appear in court on Sept. 25.
