Parking Lot Near College Avenue Train Station Will Close in July

The daily fee parking lot will close for three weeks.

Starting on July 5, parking lot 10, which is the city’s daily fee parking lot near the College Avenue train station, will be closed to all traffic for approximately three weeks while crews replace sidewalks and curbs and resurface the parking lot.

If you are looking for daily fee parking during this time, there are several options available on a first-come, first-served basis. See this map of daily fee parking options.

Near the College Avenue Train Station:

  • Metered 12-hour spots on Crescent Avenue, from Chase Street to Williston Street

Near the Downtown Train Station:

  • Metered 12-hour spots on Liberty, between Bridge Street and West Street
  • Metered 12-hour spots on Front Street, between Western Avenue and Gary Avenue
  • Metered 12-hour spots on Carlton Avenue, between Liberty and Childs Street
  • Daily fee parking spots in Parking Lot 9, located at Carlton Avenue and Liberty Drive
  • Metered 12-hour spots on Hale Street, between Seminary Avenue and Union Avenue

Please note that alternate daily fee parking spaces are limited and will not accommodate for all of the spaces in Lot 10. The city encourages commuters to consider finding transportation to and from the train station during this time period.
