Trial begins in fatal shooting at bar near Wheaton (dailyherald.com) — A DuPage County jury is hearing a high-profile case about a December 2023 shooting outside Rosie O'Reilly's on Gary Avenue near Wheaton, where an Aurora man is accused of killing another patron after a dispute over pizza. Prosecutors call the nine-shot killing murder, while the defense argues it was a tragic act of self-defense, making this a closely watched local trial.
