Man Hit By Car, Seriously Injured On Roosevelt Road In Wheaton
Police say the victim, who was in his 60s, sustained serious injuries in the crash.

WHEATON, IL --- A man in his 60s was seriously injured when he was struck by a car while walking on Roosevelt Road in Wheaton Tuesday evening. Police say the incident took place after 9 p.m. and reduced traffic on Roosevelt to one lane between Gables and Greenwood for several hours.
Wheaton Deputy Police Chief Princeton Youker said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but did not give an update about the victim's condition. No further information was available at press time regarding whether charges had been filed in the collision.
