Pinwheel Garden To Raise Awareness In Wheaton During Child Abuse Prevention Month
The Pinwheel Garden symbolizes the roles family, friends and community play to help foster safe and happy childhoods for all children.

WHEATON, IL — As many as 100 brightly colored pinwheels will whir in the wind at the intersection of County Farm and Manchester Roads to help raise awareness during Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Each year, the Pinwheel Garden is created by Exchange Club of Wheaton, Bikers Against Child Abuse and Prevent Child Abuse Illinois.
Dawn Portner of the Exchange Club told Patch they planted their inaugural Pinwheel Garden in 2022, just one year after their organization had been charted.
