The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.
Fugitive from justice, theft
Police arrested a Wheaton man for a fugitive from justice offense and a warrant for theft on Friday, May 6. Jessy Adams, 24, of the 500 block of Wesley Street, was arrested at his home at around 10 a.m. Friday. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department Friday morning before transferring to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office that afternoon. was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Suspended license

Police arrested a Chicago man for driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and suspended registration on Tuesday, May 3. Gabriel Williams, 40, drove a white 1990 Ford F-350 near the intersection of Cole and Main streets at around 3 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that afternoon.

Police arrested a Warrenville man for a count of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol on Sunday, May 1. Abram Cuatzo, 27, drove a gray 2001 Chevy Cavalier near the intersection of Butterfield and West Loop roads at around midnight when police stopped him. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage. Cuatzo was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and taken to DuPage County Jail later that morning.
