Property Fraud Featured Topic at Winfield Public Library

Learn about property fraud and what you can do to prevent the crime.

Winfield Public Library will host “Property Fraud” on Jan. 12.

DuPage County Recorder of Deeds Fred Bucholz will present the program. Topics discussed include the growing problem of property fraud and how to prevent the crime, which can be as simple as someone recording a document that makes it appear that they now own your property.

The program is part of the library’s Senior Program Series.
