Purse Stolen, Cash Swiped: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — A purse and a wallet were stolen, cash was taken from a locker and other crimes were reported on the Wheaton Police Department's blotter for late March and early April.

Wallet and Purse Stolen from Shane's Deli

Employees told police a purse and a wallet were stolen from a shared employee area at Shane's Deli, 201 W. Wesley St. The incident took place sometime between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on March 20.

Cash Stolen from Locker at Planet Fitness.

Police say cash was stolen from inside a locker at Planet Fitness. Someone stole the cash from a wallet that was inside a locker that had been secured. The incident took place on March 23, sometime between 6:04 p.m. and 6:35 p.m.

Graffiti Found at Train Depot

Graffiti was found written on a bathroom wall at the train depot located at 402 W. Front St.

Door Shattered at Business Downtown

Someone shattered the glass on the door of a business location sat 111 E. Front St. The incident took place sometime between 12 p.m. and 11:44 p.m. on March 19.
