Resident Finds Burglar In Wheaton Home: Cops
Police say a resident discovered a burglar at the top of the stairs in their Wheaton home Saturday night.

WHEATON, IL — A Wheaton resident found a burglar wearing a black ski mask and black clothing inside their home on Muirfield Circle Saturday night, according to police.
Police were called to the first block of Muirfield Circle around 10 p.m. after a resident confronted a burglar at the top of the stairs inside their home. The burglar fled the home shortly after.
According to police, the burglar gained entry to the home by smashing a glass door in the rear of the house.

In the wake of the burglary, Wheaton police are urging residents to review their doorbell and security cameras.
