Resident Hurt After Garage Catches Fire in Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — A resident sustained a minor injury after a fire broke out in a garage in Wheaton Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the 100 block of Beethoven Court just after 1:45 p.m. for a report of a fire. The fire did not spread to the house and fire crews were able to get the garage fire under control within minutes.

The home was deemed habitable, but the cause of the fire had not been determined as of Tuesday night.
