Resident Rescued From House Fire In Warrenville

The fire broke out early Saturday morning in a home in the 30W000 block of Maplewood Drive.

WARRENVILLE, IL — Firefighters rescued a person from a house fire in Warrenville Saturday morning.

The fire was reported just after 1:15 a.m. in the 30W000 block of Maplewood Drive. Fire crews got to the scene shortly after and found heavy smoke coming from the front of the house.

Firefighters entered the home with a hose and safely removed the resident before transferring them to emergency medical services. As of Monday, their condition had not been made public.

Fire officials say the efforts of responding firefighters helped salvage some $100,000 worth of property.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
