Road Closures To Take Effect Downtown For Outreach 5K In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Several road closures will take effect on April 22 for the Wheaton Outreach 5K Run, Walk and Wheel race.

Between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., the following streets will be closed to traffic:

• Cross Street from Seminary Avenue to Franklin Street
• Franklin Street from Main Street to Washington Street
• Washington from between Franklin Street to Wesley Street
• Seminary from between Washington Street to President Street
• Wakeman from between President Street to Scott Street
• Scott Street from Wakeman Avenue to Franklin Street

Members of the Wheaton Police Department will be on hand to help redirect traffic.

The Wheaton Outreach 5K Run, Walk and Wheel race debuted in 2022 and helps raise funds to help those in need throughout the local community.
