Scooby's Red Hots Burglar Sought By West Chicago Police

WEST CHICAGO, IL --- Police in West Chicago are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who broke into Scooby's Red Hots Saturday evening. The burglary took place around 9:30 p.m. at the restaurant at 1020 E. North Ave., according to a post shared on the West Chicago Police Department Facebook page.
Photos taken from the restaurant's surveillance footage show the suspect behind the restaurant's counter wearing what appears to be a head lamp and holding what appears to be a small tool. Another surveillance image shows the suspected burglar looking directly at the camera and wearing what appears to be a knit Blackhawks cap and a mask concealing most of their face.

Anyone who believes they can identify the subject or who has information about the burglary is urged to call West Chicago police at 630-293-2222.
