Sept. 11 Remembrance Ceremony Planned At Memorial Park

The ceremony will feature remarks from local officials and live music from the Wheaton Municipal Band and more.

WHEATON, IL — A Sept. 11 Remembrance Ceremony will be held at Memorial Park in Wheaton to commemorate those lost in the attacks.

Mayor Philip Suess will be on hand to make remarks, as will members of the city's police and fire departments and historian Bob Goldsborough. Live music will be performed by a bagpipe player, the Wheaton Municipal Band and musicians from Wheaton College.
