DuPage Sheriff's Office Issues 59 Tickets In Labor Day Crackdown
The crackdown was part of the statewide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" and "Click It or Ticket" initiatives.
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office issued 59 tickets as part of its annual Labor Day crackdown. The citations included 34 speeding tickets and two traffic arrests, according to a news release.
“As traffic safety partners, we do our best to make sure all drivers and other road users are safe,” DuPage County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Justin Kmitch said in the news release.
Kmitch added, “While enforcement campaigns like these save lives, there is still much to be done. Please help us spread the message: Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”
