Shop Burglarized, Catalytic Converters Stolen: Wheaton Police

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating reports of stolen catalytic converters, a burglarized coffee shop and other incidents in their most recent crime blotter.
Theft in 600 block East Liberty Drive
A rear license plate was stolen from a car at the above address sometime between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Aug. 6.

Catalytic Converter Stolen in 500 block of South Naperville Road
Someone cut a catalytic converter from a Ford Econoline van sometime between 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 5.

Theft in 300 block of North Blanchard Street
A license plate was removed from the front of a car between Aug. 11 and Aug. 18.
Theft in 100 block of East Front Street
A package was stolen from the above address on Aug. 14.
Catalytic Converter Stolen in 1700 block East Roosevelt Road
Sometime between Aug. 1 and Aug. 7, a catalytic converter was stolen from a car at the above address.
Shop Burglarized at 112 N. Main St.
Police say cash was stolen from Five and Hoek Coffee Co. The burglary took place between 6 p.m. Aug.21 and 5 a.m. Aug. 22.
