Sketch Released Of Suspect Who Stole Car With Child Inside In Wheaton
Wheaton police recently shared a sketch and photo of a suspect who stole a car with a young child inside on April 18.

WHEATON, IL — Police in Wheaton recently released a sketch and photo of a suspect who stole a car with a young child inside of it on April 18. The child was reunited with their family shortly after the incident, which took place outside the UPS store at 20 Danada Square West.

The car, a white 2014 Honda Pilot , had been left running outside the UPS store around 9:30 a.m., an update said. The man got into the car and drove away, dropping the child off in a nearby parking lot before fleeing west on Butterfield from the Danada Square Shopping Center.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect, who is pictured above. He was described a white man in his 30s or 40s, standing around 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a skinny build and stubbly facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and dark pants.
