Soroptimist Announces Winners of the 2017 GED Grant

Andrea Amaro and Heather Witczak receive 2017 GED Grants from Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago.

Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s GED Grant.

Andrea Amaro of Addison is attending classes at College of DuPage. She hopes to get her GED this year and plans to attend classes to become professionally certified.

Heather Witczak of Naperville also attends classes offered through College of DuPage. She will pursue her dream of college after completing the GED.

They will receive their GED Grant Certificate and check at an Awards Celebration scheduled in May.

Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago is a volunteer organization for women dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
