Criminal Trespass, Battery Brings Wheaton Cops To Dover And Lakecliffe

WHEATON, IL — Police were called to the intersection of Dover and Lakecliffe Thursday morning for a report of a criminal trespass and battery incident. Officials say the person in question has left the area and there is no threat to the community.

As a precaution, Briar Glen Elementary School was placed on a "secure and teach" advisory that was lifted shortly after.

Deputy Chief P.J. Youker did not immediately respond to a request from Patch for more information Thursday morning.
