Teens Start Trash Fire In Wheaton: Cops

Police are looking for seven teens who started a trash fire in Wheaton.

WHEATON, IL — Police are looking for seven teens who started a fire in a trash can in Wheaton. The fire was started in the 200 block of S. Cross St. on Dec. 16.

Police responded to a report of a fire at approximately 8:33 p.m. After an investigation, they determined seven male teenagers had started the fire in a trash can, which constitutes criminal damage to government supported property.

According to a police summary, no one was harmed and nothing further was damaged. No further description of the suspects was available at press time.
