#Top3Thursday at Wheaton Park District: March 30, 2017

Go egg hunting at Cosley Zoo, learn about good old neon, and move it, move it next week.

1. Move it, move it. Move it and lose it with Aerobic Dance & Exercise, a lower-intensity workout by Bod Squad. Starting April 3, 6:30-7:30P, it's half aerobic dance, half muscle toning, and completely fun! Work at your own pace. Beginners are always welcome. Instructed by Anne Hawkins of The Bod Squad, who's been teaching for more than 25 years. Class held at Franklin Middle School (211 E. Franklin St.) every Monday through June 5. $49 per resident; $62 per nonresident. For ages 17 and up. Register online.

2. See-on the neon. On April 6, 7-8:30P at the DuPage County Historical Museum (102 E. Wesley St.), Nick Freeman presents Good Old Neon, a colorful talk featuring his own neon sign photography taken throughout Chicagoland, showcasing familiar icons and quirky remnants from a time when brightly lit signs filled the urban landscape. He delves into the history, production, and impact of these fast-disappearing symbols of big-city glamour and commerce and shares his affection for gritty, offbeat neon signage still to be found throughout the region. Free. All ages welcome. Register online.

3. Run, rabbit, run. At Cosley Zoo (1356 N. Gary Ave.) guests can see Dutch rabbits, French lops, and Himalayan rabbits. On April 8, 5-6:30P, they’ll also see the Easter Bunny during the zoo’s Busy Bunny Egg Hunt, a family friendly, after-hours event. Meet the Easter Bunny, search for eggs in an age-appropriate egg hunt, interact with live animals, make crafts, and participate in Easter- and egg-themed activities. All participants, including adults, must register. Adults must accompany their children, who will be placed in an age-appropriate time slot for the egg hunt. Registration is $13.50 per child ages 2 to 10, $5 per person ages 11 through adult, and free for children under 2. Registration is open through April 5 or when filled. Register online.
