Wallet Swiped, Catalytic Converters Stolen: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating a report of a stolen wallet and two catalytic converter thefts, according to the most recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.
Wallet Stolen from Cart at Whole Foods
Someone removed a wallet from a purse that was left unattended in a shopping cart at Whole Foods, 89 Danada Square East. The incident took place sometime between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Dec. 27.

Catalytic Converter Stolen from Car in 2000 Block of Main Street
The catalytic converter was stolen from a Lexus RX400 while it was parked in a lot in the 2000 block of Main Street. The theft happened sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 and 7:45 a.m. on Jan. 5.

Catalytic Converter Stolen from Car in 2000 Block of Main Street
Another driver reported that the catalytic converter was stolen from their car, a Toyota Tacoma, while it was parked in the 2000 block of Main Street. Police say the part was stolen sometime between 5 p.m. on Jan. 4 and 8 p.m. on Jan. 5.
