WHEATON, IL — A wallet was stolen from a jacket at Chili's, packages were taken from the lobby of an apartment building and other crimes were reported on the most recent installment of the Wheaton police blotter.

Packages Stolen from Apartment Building on Sterling Circle

A resident told police two packages were stolen from the mailroom area of their apartment building on Sterling Circle. The theft took place on Jan. 23, per the crime blotter.

Wallet Stolen from Jacket at Chili's

A wallet was stolen from the pocket of a jacket someone had left unattended at the Chili's located at 240 W. Loop Rd. The wallet was stolen between 9 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 24.

Catalytic Converter Stolen in Parking Garage on Liberty Drive

Someone cut a catalytic converter from a Toyota 4-Runner that was parked in a garage at 601 W. Liberty Dr. The theft took place between Jan. 26 and Jan. 29.
