Original story: A judge has issued felony arrest warrants against five Wheaton College football players who are accused of attacking a freshman, sexually assaulting him with a blunt object, battering him and telling him he was kidnapped by "Muslims who wanted to fornicate with goats." James Cooksey, Benjamin Pettway, Kyler Kregel, Samuel TeBos and Noah Spielman have been charged with felony mob action, aggravated battery and unlawful restraint.
The "hazing incident" took place last March in a dorm on the college campus, according to police. The Chicago Tribune reports that he was watching an NCAA basketball tournament in his dorm room when the accused teammates stormed into his room, battered him and bound his legs and wrists with duct tape. They then shoved him in the backseat of a vehicle and assaulted him verbally and sexually.
After the hazing attack, the victim, who chooses to remain anonymous, was left half-clothed on the college's baseball field in temperatures just above freezing. He suffered torn shoulders and has undergone two surgeries since the incident, according to the Tribune.
