The Wheaton City Council presented certificates of excellence to Wheaton students who were named National Merit Finalists during a meeting this past week.
Recipients include Wheaton Warrenville South High School student Alexandra Burda and Wheaton North High School students Catherine Blume, Kevin Fausett and Lauren Liebman.
The National Merit Scholarship program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships.
