Wheaton Festival Of Cultures Explores International Art, Eats
The festival will feature two live bands, traditional international dance and music, and plenty of food trucks.

WHEATON, IL — The sights and sounds of international cultures will fill the air at Wheaton's Memorial Park for the city's Festival of Cultures on Sept. 16. The free, all-ages event is a great opportunity to learn about the traditions and customs of other cultures and will feature food trucks, live music, and more.
"Passports" will be handed out at the festival and attendees will be able to tour the world through stories, costumes, works of art, and historical items displayed at more than two dozen booths throughout Memorial Park. Live music performed by Gros Ngolle Pokossi Afro Jass Band and the Chicago Folklore Ensemble will set the tone for this fun and educational event.
Kids and grownups alike can contribute to an interactive art mural, watch a traditional Native American dance, or play a game of Mexican bingo.
