Wheaton Fire: Flames Erupt Near Northside Park
Fire crews are currently battling a "large fire" at the scene.

WHEATON, IL -- Emergency crews are battling a large fire that broke out near downtown Wheaton. Heavy smoke is covering the area in the 1500 block of N. Main St. where the blaze started after 8 p.m.
The Wheaton Fire Department is on the scene of a large fire at 1530 N. Main Street in Wheaton. Please use caution when in this area due to large amounts of smoke. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but will be investigated. pic.twitter.com/kCXwfiIYaM

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area or use caution due to the extreme smoke coverage.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but the city says it will be under investigation.
