Wheaton Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

WHEATON, IL — A Wheaton man faces multiple felony charges after police say he was caught possessing child pornography. Peter Agosto, 24, of the first block of Sterling Circle was charged with six felony counts of child pornography after an investigation by the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office Digital Forensic Investigation Unit and the Wheaton Police Department.

Police arrested Agosto early Tuesday following the undercover investigation into a report that he was in possession of and distributing child pornography. Police say child pornography was found on his computer.

Agosto was held on $25,000 bond, but posted the necessary 10 percent and was released early Wednesday.
