Wheaton Man Charged With Stabbing Victim During Fight

Police say the stabbing took place in the 1300 block of Roosevelt Road.

WHEATON, IL — A Wheaton man was arrested Monday night after police say he stabbed someone "several times" during a fight. Billy J. Thomas, 27, of the 1300 block of Roosevelt Road, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery in connection with the incident.

Police say that when they got to the scene in the 1300 block of Roosevelt Road just before 10 p.m., they found Thomas and the victim, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Thomas is currently being held at DuPage County Jail for an upcoming appearance in bond court.
