Wheaton Municipal Band To Share Virtual Concerts

It wouldn’t be summer without the Wheaton Municipal Band concerts. Starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, join the Wheaton Municipal Band for a series of web concerts available on the band’s Facebook page.

Concerts will be available on Thursdays from June 18 through Aug. 6, featuring introductory interviews with individuals involved with the band, followed by recordings of past concerts with the band’s favorite selections. The band will add a virtual concert from the past each Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

The musicians, Dr. Moss, and Pete Friedmann can’t wait to return to the new bandshell in Memorial Park as soon as it is safe to do so. Until then, join the band on Facebook.
