WNHS Basketball Team Vies for Chicago Sky 'High School Team of the Year' Title

Wheaton North girls basketball team receives recognition for volunteerism and prowess on the court, and is selected as one of nine contenders for the Chicago Sky's "High School Team of the Year" title.

The Wheaton North High School girls basketball team is one of nine teams in the running for the Chicago Sky's "High School Team of the Year" title

According to the Chicago Sky website, the Falcons have shown they have what it takes to succeed on the court and in the community with their 19-6 record and taking on community projects and raising almost $30,000 for the Jack Pribaz Foundation, or "Jack's Army"

Jack's Army was founded for Jack Pribaz, a three-year-old who suffers from epilepsy, to find a cure for his rare gene mutation, KCNQ2.

The winning team will receive Under Armour apparel for the team.
